How do collaborative systems affect organizational agility and performance in supply chains?

In today’s rapidly evolving business environment, firms are striving to enhance their ability to respond swiftly to changing market conditions. To address this challenge, the strategic use of collaborative information systems has emerged as a key factor, particularly within supply chain management. Supply chain partners collaborate through these systems to improve decision-making quality, optimize supply chain networks, and response uncertainties. Given that most collaborative workflows occur in these systems, the effectiveness of a organization’s response is heavily influenced by the quality of systems. Consequently, this study examines the quality factors of collaborative systems and the structural relationships to organizational agility and corporate performance. In addition, our research is focused on the concept of organizational agility within the context of digital transformation and the post-COVID era, integrating perspectives from information systems, organizational behavior, and strategic management. The study finds that information quality is crucial for information collaboration, while service quality significantly impacts operational collaboration. Emphasizing the importance of comprehensive operational integration, the research aligns with recent literature on the role of integrated business processes in enhancing organizational agility and performance. The findings underscore the necessity for a balanced approach in collaborative system development, highlighting the importance of both information and service quality in optimizing collaboration and improving organizational outcomes in the digital age.

오늘날 빠르게 변화하는 비즈니스 환경에서 기업은 변화하는 시장 상황에 신속하게 대응하는 능력을 강화하기 위해 노력하고 있습니다. 이러한 과제를 해결하기 위해 협업 정보 시스템의 전략적 사용이 핵심 요소로 부상했으며, 특히 공급망 관리에서 그렇습니다. 공급망 파트너는 이러한 시스템을 통해 협업하여 의사 결정 품질을 개선하고 공급망 네트워크를 최적화하며 대응 불확실성을 해소합니다. 대부분의 협업 워크플로가 이러한 시스템에서 발생한다는 점을 감안할 때 조직의 대응 효과는 시스템 품질에 크게 영향을 받습니다. 결과적으로 이 연구는 협업 시스템의 품질 요인과 조직적 민첩성과 기업 성과에 대한 구조적 관계를 조사합니다. 또한, 저희 연구는 디지털 혁신과 COVID 이후 시대의 맥락에서 조직적 민첩성 개념에 초점을 맞추고 정보 시스템, 조직 행동, 전략적 관리의 관점을 통합합니다. 이 연구는 정보 품질이 정보 협업에 필수적이며 서비스 품질은 운영 협업에 상당한 영향을 미친다는 것을 발견했습니다. 포괄적인 운영 통합의 중요성을 강조하는 이 연구는 조직의 민첩성과 성과를 향상시키는 데 있어 통합된 비즈니스 프로세스의 역할에 대한 최근 문헌과 일치합니다. 연구 결과는 협업 시스템 개발에 있어 균형 잡힌 접근 방식이 필요함을 강조하며, 디지털 시대에 협업을 최적화하고 조직 성과를 개선하는 데 있어 정보와 서비스 품질이 모두 중요하다는 점을 강조합니다.
